As the winter nights get longer my family and I find ourselves looking forward to evenings at home when we can spend time decorating our home; reading our favorite Christmas books; and looking through photos of Christmas past. This time of year brings excitement to young and old alike as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Slowing down also allows me to reflect on the events of this past year here at Daily Creek Music.
I am reminded time and time again of the ways God has used this ministry throughout 2008 to touch lives. It is a great privilege to share the hope of the gospel with each one of our listeners. It is even more special to have the opportunity to build relationships with those who attend our concerts and listen to our music. Your words of encouragement and prayers keep us motivated to spread the message of the gospel through music.
May this Christmas season be a time that you, too, reflect on God’s gift of salvation. As you and your family celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, I pray that you may know Him and experience His love in a personal and intimate way.
Christmas Blessings,
Melissa
