Melissa Moates
Melissa Moates, worship leader, song-writer, performer and teacher has just recorded her second full-length project Fall Like the Rain. Comprised entirely of her own original material, Fall Like the Rain, is a much-awaited sequel to her first album, One Fine Day. The success of One Fine Day, both in radio and television markets, warrants the industry's notice of another great project.
Her experience in radio, artist management and music law while in Nashville gave the insight needed to begin to write and produce her own music. As a result, Melissa has had the opportunity to take her music across the Midwest and Southern United States.
Nashville producer, Mark Burchfield, using some of the industry's leading studio musicians, provides a musical backdrop for the album that allows Moates to take the listener along a path from straight-ahead worship (How Great You Are/Now I Can Sing) to ballads (Matthew's Song/Fall Like the Rain). Also included on this album is the new jazz tune, I Am Not Here to Stay. This is slated to be a favorite as it taps into the heart and soul of her style.
Moates, and her husband, along with their two children, currently make their home in Lincoln, Nebraska.
